Have You tried setting up Goals or Resolutions and failed? Do You always wait until last minute to do the tasks and then realize you didn’t have enough time??

Chances are You have one of these two problems, or maybe even both!! 😲

But first let’s find out what is procrastination and what is avoidance?!

When YOU Procrastinate you usually leave things until the last possible minute, now please understand this means something different for everyone, some may be until the last 10 minutes, or the last half an hour and others may be after 5 , 10 or a couple of hours after the desired time! You end up doing it all, but way later than necessary… and You may wonder why You do this? and how can You change it??

Avoidance may seem to be the same but has a deeper reason as why you do it!! You avoid things and You actually can take days, weeks, months or even years to get some things done 😲 Avoidance has more to do with a deeper need to self-sabotage yourself, so You never really get where you want, usually because deep down (super deep down in your mind) you are afraid and don’t want to achieve these goals , even if in the surface You may say you want these things, you are stopping yourself from succes!

While You can do both!! And it may take you a while to differentiate these, they have two different problems!!

Procrastination has more to do with time management and organizing all your to do lists, and can improve with planners and some basic goals setting.

While avoidance has to do with finding out why you self sabotage yourself , understand your fears and overcome them!! Plus it often comes with a series of hobbies that you are happily using to avoid things … something like scrolling around your cell phone or watching tv, or maybe you read or play games? It’s absolutely great to do all these things , but they can become a problem if YOU use them as a way to avoid your tasks!

The way to solve your avoidance problems starts with figuring out why you do them , what you are actually avoiding (it usually has to do with what makes you sad about your life) some work on your deeper fears and a great way to overcome them, is with affirmations and manifesting, to turn these fears around

Plus You will also have to be careful with all the hobbies that you are using as distractions while you are avoiding things…

I know this is possible to improve because I’m doing it myself!! Figuring out you have a problem with avoidance can be hard, because you , like me, may have become really good at avoiding things and have trouble understanding why, or may have buried these fears so deep than its hard to find them!

But dont worry, this is the first step to heal yourself!
